€600 per kWp
Up to 2kWp
You will receive €1800 for 2kWp solar panels (ie 6/7 solar panels)
€300 for every additional kWp up to 4kWp if you get a battery.
Total grant available capped at €2400
For 3kWp: You will receive €2100 for 3kWp solar panels plus €600 for the battery system.
For 4kWp: You will receive €2400 for 4kWp solar panels plus €600 for the battery system.
Electric Vehicle Grant
A government funded support scheme to assist homeowners install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €600 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit. The applicant must be the owner of an eligible new or second-hand electric vehicle
How Solar Pv works
Panels are installed on the roof and the energy they produce is sent to the invertor.
The inverter converts the energy produced into electricity.
Metre Board
The electricity then travels from the invertor to the Fuse board and then this electricity can be used in your home and its free green renewable energy. You have now become your own utility supplier and are in control of future increases in electricity prices.
